Overview
Role: Support Worker
Location: Wishaw
Hours: 24/7 shift pattern with long day 9:00–21:00 on community hours and 21:00–09:00 on sleep hours. This is a part-time position with an hourly rate of £12.94.
Responsibilities
* Household tasks and tenancy maintenance
* Personal care support
* Assistance with medication
* Preparation and serving nutritious meals
* Social supports aligned with service user choices
* Support for arranged appointments
About the Role
We are looking for reliable, empathetic individuals who share our values and can join our care service in Wishaw, supporting a service user living in their own home. The role includes long day sleepovers with the described shift pattern.
Qualifications
* You don’t need prior experience or formal qualifications; we will support you to become an excellent care worker.

Activities and Service User Details
* Music interactions and hobbies
* Engaging with assistive technology and communication skills
* Day trips, social activities, and daily chores
* Behaviour support planning and PRN protocols when required
* Service user: 26-year-old with Chromosome 18 deletion syndrome, moderate learning disability, and autism
What to Expect
* Support in daily activities and managing behaviours in line with proactive and reactive strategies
* Service user remains in their own home with staff support

Essential Compliance
* All roles require entitlement to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not offered
* Disclosure checks (e.g., Disclosure Scotland) and PVG where applicable
