At Klipboard we have a flexible hybrid work policy, where employees spend three days in the office and two days working from home, combining office collaboration with remote work.
Responsibilities
Traditional BDM Responsibilities
* Deliver agreed annual sales target for Rental New Business
* Manage and coordinate all commercial aspects of new business daily, with a focus on driving sales into SME profile prospective accounts
* Report and forecast at the sales meeting and via the CRM system the activity and opportunities that exist within your portfolio
* Qualify prospects, deliver tailored software demonstrations and review their current state and future desired state, demonstrating the value our solutions will deliver
* Identify Office Edition customers prime for migration to OnRent
* Provide detailed solutions meetings with customers at all levels, from staff on the shop floor to c-level execs
* Provide statements of works handovers to the professional services team ensuring solutions and customer needs are handed over accurately
* In control of all commercial aspects of the solution with the full support of the inspHire business
* Attend industry shows to showcase our products to prospective customers
OnRent BDM Responsibilities
* Liaise internally and externally to manage specific prospects and influence solutions
* Reach out to new trial sign ups of OnRent within set KPIs
* Nurture prospective customers through the 30-day trial, including onboarding and training
* Ask qualifying questions to ensure pairing of business with the correct software product
* Maintain our business database by inputting new leads, trial sign ups and customers
* Re-engage previous trialists and generate new business leads via phone and LinkedIn
* Provide aftersales care and proactive customer management to ensure ongoing usage
* Ensure customer retention aligns with business targets
* Contact lost customers to understand reasons for leaving and relay feedback to Product Management and Development
* Occasionally provide online demonstrations/onboarding sessions (e.g., 7am for Australia)
* Participate in ad-hoc projects as required by the Online Sales Manager
* Keep up to date with all products in the rental division
Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience

* Demonstrable experience of working in a software solution sales environment
* Excellent technical understanding from an application and technology perspective
* Demonstrable success in a similar role
