QA Administrator
Job Introduction
Quality Assurance Administrator, Skipton – 36 hrs, Mon‑Fri, 08:00‑16:30. 9‑day fortnight (every second Friday off).
A role where organisation meets purpose – and every detail matters. If you enjoy keeping things running smoothly, love a well‑organised system, and take pride in getting the details right, this position may feel like home.
What the role looks like
In this role you will become an essential part of the daily rhythm of the Quality department. Your responsibilities include:
* Issuing and controlling batch records and monitoring the daily production plan.
* Flagging documents under change control before they cause delays.
* Supporting the flow of documentation that keeps production and packing teams moving.
o Working closely with planning and production teams; joining weekly meetings to update on paperwork status.
* Scanning, distributing and archiving quality documentation; maintaining filing systems for logbooks, training files and master documents.
* Preparing or reviewing SOPs related to your area and compiling reports or simple graphs using Microsoft Office.
* Applying a cGMP mindset: thinking carefully, working methodically, and keeping quality at the heart of all work.
* Participating in continuous improvement activities to challenge old ways of working and find more efficient approaches.
* Managing your own workload, escalating issues when needed, and keeping the workflow moving in the right direction.
What you’ll bring with you
We’re looking for someone who:
* Is highly organised and takes pride in accuracy.
* Is comfortable working with documents, reading and understanding written information quickly, and juggling multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Has strong communication skills and can build relationships with colleagues across the site.
* Can work independently and as part of a team.
* Has experience in an office environment; prior exposure to document systems or indexing is advantageous.
* May have knowledge of cGMP or experience in a manufacturing environment – though this is not essential; the most important qualities are attitude, attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
Benefits
* Healthcare Cash plan (covers cost of dental, prescriptions, therapies)
* Headspace App (positive mental wellbeing app, up to 5 users per account)
* Discounted Gym Membership
* Cycle to work scheme
* Discount on pet food
* Free fruit on Mondays
* Free on‑site parking (including free electric charging)
* 22.5 days annual leave + Bank Holidays
* Option to buy a week's holiday each year
* 8% Employer pension contribution
