The Role
* Lead investigations into non‑conformances (internal, supplier, and customer) and produce relevant reports.
* Conduct root‑cause analysis such as FMEA, 5‑whys, and fishbone diagrams to determine impact and develop corrective or preventative steps.
* Handle customer complaints in a timely manner.
* Support site preparation for internal, customer and 3rd‑party audits (e.g., BRC, customer audits) and ensure documentation is maintained and available.
* Identify areas of improvement within current quality processes in the business.
* Enhance product quality by supporting initiatives that improve process and assist with the approval of supplier services (warehouses, processors, contract manufacturers/packagers).
Qualifications
* Strong understanding of operational process, food safety, and industry best practice.
* Ability to conduct root‑cause analysis and manage CAPAs.
* Experience managing investigations and non‑conformances.
* Experience in supplier quality or quality assurance within a food/ingredients manufacturing setting.
* Knowledge of industry standards and BRC audits, HACCP, and GMP.
