* Diagnose and repair heavy-duty construction equipment and trucks.
* Working closely with the Equipment Shop Manager, ensure equipment is repaired and maintained by applicable deadlines.
* Coach, mentor, and train employees within the shop, including both apprentices and licensed mechanics.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Must be a registered licensed mechanic through Skilled Trades Ontario.
* Experience working on Caterpillar and Navistar equipment would be an asset.
* Experience fabricating/welding would be an asset.
* Some supervisory experience is required.
* Possess a valid G class driver’s license with an acceptable driver’s abstract, as some travel to jobsites is required. DZ or AZ license would be an asset.
