This is a permanent full‑time position working 36.25 hours per week under our agile framework.

Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be a vital part of the team and have a high degree of autonomy. You should be well‑organised, flexible, driven, forward‑planning and able to deliver work to a high standard and within tight timescales. You should also be prepared to manage the electrical engineering aspects of more junior team members on projects.
* Act as Project Leader on selected projects
* Work as part of a larger team on certain projects
* Attend senior‑level meetings and deliver client presentations on selected projects
* Raise the level of technical excellence within the team
* Become a point of contact for key clients over time
* Help generate repeat business through customer care of existing clients
* Work on a variety of technically challenging and interesting projects across varied sectors
* Be client facing and involved in all stages of the projects from inception to completion
* Collaborate closely with others in a team environment to achieve a common goal
* Produce drawings and specifications
* Produce calculations or guide others to complete them
We are looking for someone with a Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (Chartered or working towards). Candidates with HNC or HND with suitable design experience will also be considered.
* Minimum of 3‑4 years of design experience in building services after qualification
* Experience with Microsoft Office, Relux/Dialux, Amtech, Revit
* Knowledge of British and European Standards, Building Regulations documents, etc.
* Knowledge of HTM’s would be beneficial
* Professional membership (CIBSE, IET)
* Good understanding of HV/LV systems
* Knowledge of integration of embedded generation
* Understanding of incorporating various renewable technologies
* Working knowledge of BREEAM
* Appreciation of mechanical engineering to cover both disciplines at meetings
* Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
* Strong willingness to learn and desire to develop new and existing skills
