Payroll Manager - 6-9 month FTC - Remote/ Manchester - up to £45,000 per annum
Oakleaf Partnership is delighted to be partnered with a professional services company, looking for an experienced Payroll individual, on a 6-9 month FTC basis. The Payroll Manager will lead and manage the payroll team, whilst responsible for the accurate, compliant, and timely delivery of end to end payroll services, including finance reporting, reconciliations, and continuous process improvement, for UK & International entities.This role is on a remote/ hybrid basis consisting of 1 - 2 days in their Manchester office.
The Payroll Manager will be assisting/overseeing duties such as:
1. Lead the end to end payroll process for approximately 500 employees, across UK and international locations, ensuring all payments are accurate and processed on time.
2. Oversee and manage stakeholder management.
3. Maintain up to date knowledge of payroll legislation, statutory changes, and compliance requirements in the UK and applicable international jurisdictions.
4. Ensure correct tax and NI calculations, statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP), pension contributions, and other deductions.
5. Prepare and deliver payroll related financial reporting in alignment with monthly and year end finance cycles. Complete payroll reconciliations including balance sheet accounts, payroll journa...
