About the Role
We are seeking a knowledgeable, strategic and people-focused Compensation & Benefits Advisor to help shape the future of our clients national reward, benefits, EVP and wellbeing approach. This is a high-impact role that blends analytical insight with human‑centred thinking, ensuring our people feel valued, supported and empowered to succeed.
In a sector where precision, quality and people matter equally, you will play a key part in designing frameworks that recognise performance, promote wellbeing and support long‑term career development. Working closely with senior stakeholders, HR Business Partners and external providers, you will help create an Employee Value Proposition that attracts top talent and retains our brightest professionals.
You will report into the Director of Remuneration and Recognition, HR, contributing to company wide strategic growth plans and ensuring reward initiatives are robust, future-ready and aligned to business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Reward Strategy & Delivery
Support the design and delivery of a competitive, fair and future‑focused reward framework
Assist with annual pay review and bonus cycles, ensuring consistency, equity and transparency
Benchmark compensation practices and present insights to senior leadership
Support the delivery of salary benchmarking processes and pay review cycles
Ensure reward structures support progression, fairness and business performance Benefits Management
Oversee the administration and ongoing development of employee benefits platform
Partner with providers to ensure high‑value, cost‑effective benefits solutions
Continuously review and enhance benefits offerings to meet evolving workforce needs
Work with pension governance providers and deliver clear, targeted pension communications
Manage annual benefits windows, including healthcare, pensions and flexible benefits Wellbeing Leadership
Champion a holistic wellbeing strategy that supports mental, physical, financial and social wellbeing
Collaborate with internal teams and external experts to deliver webinars and wellbeing campaigns
Monitor trends and measure wellbeing outcomes, providing regular insights to leadership
Lead on wellbeing content, communications and programme delivery Stakeholder Engagement & Governance
Act as a trusted advisor to HR Business Partners and senior leaders
Ensure compliance with legislation, internal processes and governance requirements
Lead cross-functional projects and contribute to national people strategy initiatives
Technical Skills, Experience & Knowledge
Strong organisational and administrative skills
Experience contributing to strategic HR projects
Proven background in reward, benefits or wellbeing in a complex organisation
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
Solid understanding of UK employment law and regulatory requirements
Skilled communicator with excellent stakeholder management capabilities
Passion for inclusive and supportive workplace environments
Experience using HRIS and benefits platforms
Confident in Excel, Word and data reporting
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years' experience in reward, benefits or wellbeing
HRIS and compensation/benefits platform experience
Understanding of ED&I principles within reward and wellbeing design
CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent), working towards Level 7
Strong communication skills — written, verbal and presentation
Strong commercial awareness and comfort with analysing complex data
Experience within professional services or accountancy is highly desirable
A proactive ambassador for the People Team, promoting positive culture and engagement
This is a full-time permanent position with a salary of £44,000p/a
