Job Overview
We are currently recruiting an experienced and motivated Pharmacist Manager to lead a well-established community pharmacy in Northampton. This is an excellent opportunity for a patient-focused pharmacist with strong leadership skills to manage day-to-day pharmacy operations while delivering high-quality clinical and customer services.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with GPhC standards and company policies
* Lead, motivate, and develop the pharmacy team to deliver excellent patient care
* Ensure safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of prescriptions
* Provide professional advice and clinical services to patients and healthcare professionals
* Drive pharmacy performance, service delivery, and patient satisfaction
* Manage stock control, ordering, and financial performance of the pharmacy
* Build and maintain strong relationships with local GP surgeries and healthcare providers
* Deliver and promote NHS and private services, including health checks and consultations
Requirements
* MPharm degree or equivalent
* Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
* Proven experience as a Pharmacist, ideally with management or leadership experience
* Strong organisational and people management skills
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
* Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
