About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious and outgoing full-time Member Service Representative III to guide and support our team, provide exceptional member service, and foster strong relationships between our members and the Credit Union.
Responsibilities
 * Encourage and maintain a positive work environment by communicating in a manner consistent with professional standards to successfully work with members, teammates, management, and vendors.
 * Provide outstanding service through active listening, time management, and verbal and written communication.
 * Process member transactions and requests including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, wire transfer initiation, foreign currency, account and loan inquiries, iBanking and mobile banking troubleshooting, and other services.
 * Create and maintain member profiles and accounts as requested by the member, ensuring accuracy of information, account titling, and documentation.
 * Balance teller drawer, ATM, vault, Coinstream, cash recyclers, and other branch services to ensure end‑of‑day totals are in balance.
 * Offer support to the Branch Manager and/or Assistant Branch Manager by opening and closing the branch, placing cash orders, conducting branch audits, training the team, and performing other duties as needed.
 * Handle loans from application to funding, guiding members throughout the process to ensure efficiency and accurate documentation and information.
 * Maintain knowledge of the organization, our products and services, and industry trends.
 * Refer and cross‑sell Credit Union products and services as outlined in our Sales Program to meet the needs of current and potential members.
 * Demonstrate community involvement by representing the Credit Union while working at local events.
 * Attend training sessions and department meetings as needed.
 * Comply with all state and federal regulations.
 * Float between branches to support the business and scheduling needs of the Credit Union.
 * Perform additional duties as assigned.
Our Ideal Candidate
Education / Experience
 * Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
 * At least two (2) or more years of operations, credit union, or financial institution experience preferred.
 * Ability to problem‑solve, analyze information, and demonstrate professionalism.
 * Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently and with a team.
 * Comfortable with technology such as mobile services and online banking services is a plus.
 * Effective time‑management skills. Ability to exercise good judgment and prioritize multiple demands.
 * May be required to obtain NMLS.
Compensation Disclosure
Pay within the range posted will be commensurate with the applicant's experience and qualifications for the role.
$21.16 - $30.69/hr.
