Responsibilities
* Carry out a range of roles in any one day; you may be a peacekeeper, a counsellor or a teacher. You’ll work directly with prisoners in a unique environment, helping to protect the public and make a positive impact.
* Build constructive, positive and professional relationships with offenders who could be at the lowest point in their lives.
* Be fully committed to teamwork—support colleagues and operate as one team to keep the prison, offenders and everyone who works here safe.
* Be prepared to work various shifts and weekends.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Empathy, self-confidence and great communication skills are part of what we expect.
* Ability to build constructive, respectful relationships with offenders while maintaining professionalism.
