The
Head of Supply Chain
will lead and optimise the end-to-end supply chain at DCS Group, including, demand planning, inventory management, warehousing, and logistics. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for ensuring product availability, cost efficiency, and service level excellence in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

As the Head of Supply Chain your responsibilities will include but not limited to;

Strategic Leadership

* Define and implement a future-fit supply chain strategy aligned with business growth, commercial planning, and customer expectations.
* Lead integrated planning processes across functions to improve visibility, accountability, and agility.
* Partner with commercial and finance teams to support margin improvement, route-to-market optimisation, and cost reduction initiatives.

End-to-End Supply Chain Management

* Oversee and continuously improve the full supply chain from supplier to customer, covering inbound freight, warehousing, order fulfilment, and last-mile delivery.
* Implement service level agreements (SLAs), KPIs, and performance dashboards to measure and enhance supply chain effectiveness.
* Align supply chain processes with retailer and e-commerce partner requirements, including OTIF, shelf availability, and returns handling.

Demand & Supply Planning

* Lead the S&OP process to align demand forecasts with supply capabilities and inventory targets.
* Integrate data from sales, marketing campaigns, new product introductions, and customer forecasts to improve forecast accuracy.
* Develop agile planning processes to manage frequent promotions, product launches, and seasonal demand spikes.

Inventory & Warehouse Management

* Ensure optimal inventory levels across multiple warehouse locations to meet service levels while managing working capital.
* Drive warehouse efficiency and accuracy through best practices in layout, stock rotation, and automation.
* Lead stock integrity, cycle count, and root cause analysis to minimise write-offs and excess.

Logistics & Distribution

* Manage 3PL providers and logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective distribution across all channels.
* Optimise transportation routes, delivery schedules, and packaging to reduce cost per unit and environmental impact.
* Build resilience into logistics operations to manage disruptions, including Brexit, customs, or regulatory changes.

Technology & Continuous Improvement

* Leverage ERP, WMS, forecasting, and analytics tools to enable real-time visibility and decision-making.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
* Champion digital transformation to support growth, scale, and innovation.

People & Culture

* Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing supply chain team with clear objectives and accountability.
* Foster a culture of operational excellence, ownership, and cross-functional collaboration.
* Build capability in the team to support international expansion, category growth, and operational complexity

What we are looking for in our Head of Supply Chain;

* Managing supply chains in
FMCG environments
.
* Supporting
multi-channel distribution models
, including B2B retail, wholesale, and D2C e-commerce.
* Leading
end-to-end supply chain operations
, with particular strength in
demand planning, inventory optimisation
, and
supplier relationship management
.
* Working with
3PLs and outsourced logistics partners
, including experience negotiating and managing service contracts.
* Running
integrated planning processes
(S&OP/IBP) to align commercial, financial, and operational goals.
* Navigating
international sourcing
, customs compliance, and supplier onboarding across multiple regions.
* Implementing and improving
ERP and WMS systems
to increase data accuracy and supply chain visibility.
* Building and leading
cross-functional teams
, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, speed, and accountability.
