About The Role
Split role of Head of Education & Recruitment Analyst.
Responsibilities: Lead and develop the Academy's Education department in line with the club's strategic objectives and EPPP. Assist in recruiting Academy Players and monitor trialists.
Roles and Hours
* Head of Education: 20 hours per week
* Recruitment Analyst: 17.5 hours per week

Academy Head of Education
Reporting to: Mark Moss - Academy Manager
Location: County Ground
Key Duties:
* Uphold and embody the Academy Values both on and off the pitch.
* Manage and deliver the Club's Education Programme.
* Oversee scholar education programmes, attend meetings, ensure adherence, and address issues.
* Support scholars regarding 'End Point Assessment' on the SEP.
* Develop strategies and interventions for educational attainment.
* Conduct reviews and meetings with players and parents about education and behavior.
* Collaborate with third-party providers for Lifestyle Skills programs.
* Implement welfare plans aligned with development phases.
* Coordinate with all Academy departments for a Multi-Disciplinary Programme.
* Manage the Education Support Fund budget.
* Set and achieve recruitment and performance targets.
* Promote respect and individuality among students.
* Engage in professional development activities.
Recruitment Analyst Role
Designated for 17 hours per week
* Organize talent ID events, trials, and scouting activities.
* Collaborate with coaches and management to identify suitable players.
* Maintain scouting reports and tracking databases.
* Support game and training observations for potential recruits.
* Build partnerships with external clubs and organizations.
* Report on talent identification efforts.
Qualifications & Experience
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS)
* Level 5 qualification
* DBS check
* Experience in a football environment
Candidates must hold an up-to-date Safeguarding qualification.
Additional Qualifications
* Playing and coaching experience at various clubs
* Previous teaching experience in schools and BTEC programs
* Team player with flexible approach
