Graduate Mental Health Assistant – High Wycombe
Are you an aspiring Education Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist or mental health support worker? Does a role working in a school that caters for children with special needs and emotional issues appeal to you? Are you a graduate or about to graduate, looking to gain experience with students with special needs?
We are working with a primary school in High Wycombe that is looking for Teaching Assistants (TAs) to start working with them in September 2026. The school is particularly interested in psychology and criminology graduates who are aspiring Education Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists or Occupational Therapists.

Responsibilities
* Support students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, autism and behavioural difficulties.
* Assist teachers in delivering inclusive education and maintaining classroom routines.
* Maintain staff consistency for at least 12 months to support students’ progress.
Qualifications and Experience
* Graduate or approaching graduation in Psychology, Criminology, Occupational Therapy, or Education Psychology.
* Passion for working with children and a commitment to a minimum of 12 months of employment.
* Previous experience working with children is beneficial but not mandatory.
Start date: September 2026.
