We are seeking a dedicated Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team at HMP Highpoint, a category C adult male prison.

As a Combustion Engineer, you will work alongside experienced colleagues including Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators, all dedicated to making a positive difference and providing a secure environment.

We are a Ministry of Justice business providing critical services to HMPPS, seeking an Engineer - Combustion with:
1. At least two years of experience as a heating or combustion engineer or equivalent.
2. Knowledge of Water Supply Regulation and Legionella L8 requirements.
3. Familiarity with Gas Safe regulations 1998 and industry standards.
4. Experience with commercial catering gas appliances is beneficial.
5. Plumber qualification to C&G 6035, C&G 6189, NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent.
6. CCN1 - Core domestic gas safety and relevant domestic appliance units.
7. COCN1 - Core commercial gas safety certificate and relevant units.
8. Good health and safety knowledge.
9. Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
