Location: Highland Council Headquarters, Inverness
Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration: Fixed Term for 23 Months
Salary: £47, - £52,
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: Our Future Highland sets out the programme of Highland Council for the five-year period up to. It makes commitments to secure social and economic transformation on behalf of Highland communities. It has a range of workstreams, programmes and projects, which are measured by our performance plan or by specific service plans. Importantly, the operational delivery plan is also the means by which we will deliver on Highland Council’s three-year budget strategy ( – )

The Strategic Improvement Team, which includes the Portfolio Management Office (PMO) sitting within The Council’s Transformation Function, will play a key role in the co-ordination and implementation of this Delivery Plan as well as key programmes of work that underpin it, such as the ICT Strategy.

Requirements
1. Educated to degree level in a numerate/business/digital and technology related subject; or
2. Relevant industry specific qualification(s); or
3. Extensive relevant proven experience that demonstrates a similar level of knowledge and understanding.
Typically, a minimum of five years’ experience of working project and programme management with a significant proportion of that experience in digital transformation or ICT related fields
