Job description:
?We are seeking a highly skilled and technically proficient Warehouse Team Leader to join ourAerospace division at Wattisham, providing essential warehousing services as part of aneffective and efficient team. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will beresponsible for leading a small team and ensuring the seamless execution of alldepartmental processes.
How you create impact
1. KPI Management & Reporting: Review your team's daily performance to ensureall internal and customer Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are consistentlyachieved. Compile, distribute, and discuss productivity and performance reportswith the team to assess, review, and continuously improve operationalperformance.
2. System and Inventory Proficiency: Undertake all general warehousing duties,which includes the operation of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), such asForklift Trucks (FLT).
3. Workload and Resource Allocation: Strategically manage the departmentworkloads and resource allocation on a daily basis to maintain efficiency.
4. Compliance & Inter-Agency Communication: Actively communicate with otheragencies to achieve joint goals. Promptly report all discrepancies that may affectthe contract's performance to the Operations Manager.
