KS1 Teacher – Northfleet

Our lovely partner school in Gravesend is on the hunt for a passionate, creative, and slightly super heroic KS1 teacher to join their team. If phonics makes you smile and play-based learning is your jam, we want to hear from you!
Contract: Full time, starting Immediately
Salary: £168.80 - £232.57 per day
Responsibilities
* Deliver fun, interactive, and inclusive lessons that meet the KS1 curriculum
* Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children thrive
* Use creative strategies to support early reading, writing, and numeracy
* Monitor progress and provide feedback to pupils and parents
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to school life
* Bring energy, positivity, and a sense of humour to every school day!
Qualifications & Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
* Experience teaching KS1 pupils – desirable but not essential
* Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and phonics frameworks
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills
* A genuine passion for teaching and making a difference
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)
