Supply Instrumental Music Instructors, Piping and Pipe Band Drumming - PKC13671 £We are seeking passionate and engaging Piping and Pipe Band Drumming Instructors to help with the delivery of Central music Groups and high-quality music lessons (on an as and when required basis) in primary and secondary schools across Perth and Kinross. You will cover absences in Piping and Pipe Band Drumming and assist with tutoring at Central Music Groups and Music Camps. Tutor specific sections of bands and orchestras as required. Foster creativity, confidence, and enjoyment of music in young people. Work in collaboration with school staff and other tutors where appropriate. Proficiency in specialist instrument and strong musical knowledge, educated to degree level in music or a PDQB qualification. Experience teaching children, ideally in a school or community setting. Ability to communicate effectively with children and adults. A valid driving licence as this post requires you to travel to a variety of locations across Perth and Kinross. Access to transport to travel between schools if required. Familiarity with the Curriculum for Excellence and inclusive music education approaches. Ability to adapt teaching methods for learners with additional support needs.
