Key Account Executive

Full-time, permanent, 38.75 hours per week.

Office based in Kirton, Lincolnshire.

£32-38k per annum, depending on experience, + bonus, + benefits.

25 days holiday, rising to 30 days after five years’ service + bank holidays.

Boston Seeds Ltd is a dynamic and fast-growing company with a strong position in the UK seed supply industry across agriculture, amenity and consumer markets. We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service and creating value in the supply chain for our merchants, farmers and consumers. We deliver for our customers by being agile and operating at pace; maximising growth in ever-changing marketplaces.

Growing to a turnover of over £15m in 2025, we are already the largest supplier of soil health and conservation crops in the UK, the largest online supplier of grass seed and wildflower seeds and a growing supplier to the professional amenity sector. We now seek to appoint an exceptional individual in this key role to deliver outstanding key account management, customer relationship development and new customer acquisition.

The successful candidate will have a strong history in sales and/or account management, or experience in a similar customer-facing organisation. Knowledge of the seed industry would be advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities:

-\tManage, retain, and grow existing customers in agriculture and professional amenity.

-\tRespond to incoming enquiries, generate and follow up leads.

-\tAttract and develop new customer relationships.

-\tCreate effective commercial propositions for customers in conjunction with the Sales Manager and Commercial Director.

-\tDevelop expert knowledge in soil health, conservation and environmental schemes, as well as the professional amenity sector.

Requirements:

-\tResults-driven with high standards for yourself and those around you.

-\tProven commercial acumen and demonstrable customer centricity.

-\tAbility to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

-\tExcellent standard of written and verbal communication.

-\tHighly numerate and familiar with Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel.
