Working as a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact on the customer journeyso an enthusiastic and friendly outlook is essential. A positive,can-do attitude is imperative,asisthe ability to communicate clearly and work well in a team to ensure smooth operations.
The successful candidates must be able to work confidently in a fast-paced environment with a variety of customers, delivering a high level of customer service both face-to-face and over the phone.
Experience working as a receptionist is desirable, as are recognised literacy, numeracy and IT qualifications.
Working within Wakefield Council, there are a variety of clear pathways for career progression and this could be the first step for you.
