Duties
* Supervise and lead kitchen and front-of-house staff during shifts, fostering a collaborative team environment.
* Oversee food preparation processes to ensure adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the establishment.
* Train new employees in culinary techniques, hospitality practices, and operational procedures.
* Manage inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock of supplies.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for resolution and satisfaction.
* Collaborate with management to develop menus and implement special promotions or events.
* Monitor staff performance, providing feedback and conducting performance evaluations as needed.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a culinary or hospitality role, with prior supervisory experience preferred.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
* Knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary trends, and menu development.
* Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is essential.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused approach.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
* Previous experience in bartending or hotel operations is advantageous but not essential.
