About the Role
GSL Education is excited to be supporting a thriving secondary school in Fareham to recruit an inspiring and dynamic Humanities Teacher who is passionate about shaping young minds and making a lasting impact. This full‑time role offers a fantastic opportunity for both Experienced Teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to develop their career in a supportive and stimulating environment.
As a Humanities Teacher, you will:
* Deliver engaging and thought‑provoking Humanities lessons, potentially across History, Geography, and other Humanities disciplines, tailored to Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Plan, assess, and deliver high‑quality lessons that promote critical thinking and a deeper understanding of the world.
* Monitor and report on student progress, using effective feedback strategies to drive improvement.
* Contribute positively to the wider school life, including extra‑curricular activities, pastoral care, and departmental initiatives.
* Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and support collective improvement.
