Hearing Dogs for Deaf People trains dogs that change deaf people's lives through emotional and practical support – because nobody with hearing loss should feel alone. Our amazing dogs help deaf children and adults to leave loneliness behind and reconnect with life.
What you will be doing
In this role you will act as the Charities online shop and warehouse co-ordinator. This includes managing the product range and leading the administration activities for the Hearing Dog and Hearing Link online shops and fulfilling sales orders received by phone, web, or post.
* Manage the product range of both Hearing Dog promotional products and Hearing Link assistance products, processing payments and shipping on the Shopify platform
* Collaborate with the digital and marketing teams to customize the online HD and HL shops
* Lead the selection of products for online sales, including bespoke Hearing Dog products, liaising with suppliers to obtain the best prices
* Produce a seasonal catalogue, liaising with marketing to meet deadlines
* Accept telephone orders answering all calls promptly and professionally and responding to customer queries and concerns
* Process payment transactions using MS platforms abiding by all data protection regulations.
* Fulfil sales orders made via telephone, post or online including picking, packing, and posting with attention to quality, safety, and timeliness.
* Manage stock levels, place orders, receive deliveries updating Shopify system, carrying out regular stock checks, re-ordering as required and liaise with accounts team.
* Process sale or return orders.
* Provide information to colleagues and volunteers about our range of retail products.
* Act as volunteer coordinator for the warehouse, ensuring volunteers are supported, provided with training and recognised for their contribution.
What you will need to succeed
* IT competency to work with all Microsoft packages and Shopify ordering and processing system
* Excellent ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
* Highly organised with great attention to detail
* Ability to manage stock with some manual handling
