Job Title: Care Home Manager (Dementia Services)
Location: Shropshire, West Midlands
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
In partnership with an established small and homely residential care home in the heart of the community I am recruiting for an experienced and compassionate Registered Manager. The home supports older adults, including those living with dementia, and is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care in a warm and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure full compliance with CQC requirements as the Registered Manager
2. Lead and support staff through recruitment, training, and supervision
3. Promote a positive, inclusive culture that prioritises resident well-being
4. Oversee care planning, nutrition, and meaningful daily activities
5. Manage budgets and occupancy in collaboration with finance leads
6. Build strong relationships with families, professionals, and community partners
I am looking for someone with:
7. NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
8. Proven leadership experience in a care setting
9. Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
10. Full UK driving licence
