Job Opportunity
As our Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in providing accurate and insightful financial analysis and reporting to guide strategic decision making. Working closely with the Finance Controller and wider leadership team, you will take ownership of month end activities, build robust financial models and support the business through budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis. You will also help drive improvements in financial processes, partner with non financial teams to manage costs effectively, and contribute to the financial evaluation of new opportunities including acquisitions and bids.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyse financial data and trends to support planning, forecasting and performance tracking
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports with variance analysis
• Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, bids and strategic projects
• Support due diligence and performance analysis for potential acquisition targets
• Perform month end close activities including journal entries, accruals and reconciliations
• Produce timely and accurate financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations
• Partner with operational teams on cost control and performance management
• Support internal and external audit processes
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls and company policies
• Mentor and support junior members of the Finance Team
Essential Skills
• CPA/CFA Qualified Financial Analyst
• 5 Years + experience in all of the following categories: Financial Analysis, Financial Reporting, Month End Close, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• 3 Years’ experience + of working in a Healthcare organisation
• 1 Years + experience of working in a multi-site Healthcare organisation
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem solving skills
• Advanced Excel and familiarity with accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to present financial information clearly to non finance stakeholders
• A proactive, adaptable and improvement focused mindset

Operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week across the UK, we work in partnership with the NHS and private healthcare providers to deliver safe, dignified and compassionate support when it is needed most.
Our services include secure patient transport for planned and urgent transfers, including those under the Mental Health Act, as well as enhanced observation and “bed watch” support in hospitals, A&E departments and Section 136 suites.
