As demand continues to grow, we’re hiring an LED Electrical Design Engineer, but this isn’t your typical "design-heavy" role.
This role is about engineering quality, safety, and compliance.
What you’ll be doing
* Producing compliant electrical designs (schematics, load calculations, circuit schedules)
* Ensuring full compliance with BS7671 (18th Edition) and emergency lighting standards
* Reviewing installations before, during and after delivery
* Providing technical sign‑off and guidance to project and installation teams
* Validating integration of LED upgrades into existing systems
* Supporting testing, commissioning and certification (EICs, Minor Works, Emergency Lighting)
What we’re looking for
* Strong background in commercial/industrial electrical installations
* Solid working knowledge of BS7671 in real-world environments
* Inspection & Testing (2391) highly desirable
* Ability to read, challenge and improve electrical designs
* Confidence working with site teams and project managers
* Be part of a business at the forefront of decarbonisation and energy efficiency
* Work on large-scale, meaningful projects across the UK
* Clear pathway from "on-the-tools" into engineering/technical leadership
