Remediation Project Manager (12‑Month Contract)
Salary: £100,000 – £110,000
Bonus: 15% performance‑related bonus
Contract: 12‑month fixed‑term contract

Location: Hertfordshire (Hybrid – Head Office & Home Working)
Working Pattern:
Office based: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday
Home working: Wednesday & Friday (if desired)
Some site visits required
Hours:
37.5 hours per week
Core hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm

The Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced Remediation Project Manager to join their team on a 12‑month contract. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on complex remediation schemes, gaining first‑hand exposure to the Building Safety Regulator (BSR) Gateway 2 and 3 processes, as well as in‑depth experience of remediation delivery within a regulated environment.
The Project Manager will lead or work as part of a multidisciplinary team, including Technical, Commercial and Engagement leads, and will manage a full external design team through the approvals and pre‑construction phases of remediation projects.
Once projects transition into construction, delivery will be undertaken by a Principal Contractor and Employer’s Agent, with the client acting in a client‑side oversight capacity.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate remediation projects through design and pre‑construction stages
Lead and collaborate with Technical, Commercial and Engagement team members
Appoint and manage external design teams to achieve BC and BSR approvals
Actively contribute to design development and statutory submissions
Facilitate façade opening works alongside PCSA contractors
Liaise with Responsible Entities, Managing Agents and key stakeholders for occupied buildings
Drive and manage complex legal, commercial and contractual negotiations
Oversee multiple projects concurrently (typically 6–8 projects at varying stages)
Undertake site visits to develop familiarity with buildings and scope of works
Maintain accurate project information using Microsoft Office, COINS, Procore and Smartsheet
Candidate Profile
Proven experience as a Project Manager within construction, remediation or pre‑construction environments
Comfortable managing multiple projects and complex stakeholder interfaces
Strong organisational and communication skills
Able to adapt to changing scopes, priorities and project volumes
Previous remediation and/or pre‑construction experience is beneficial but not essential
Confident user of common project management and commercial software systems
