I am currently working with an impressive company based in the Workington area to recruit a Finance Assistant on a temporary basis for 4-8 weeks.
Due to recent changes within the team the business needs additional support with the purchase ledger and general accounting duties. They have recently gone through a transformation, so this is an opportunity to be part of a growing & dynamic team.

Duties include:
* Accurate processing of supplier invoices
* Reconciliation of supplier statements and maintaining correct supplier balances
* Supplier payments and correct reconciliation of same
* Weekly reviews of ledger for review by the management team
* Dealing with all supplier queries
* Cash & bank reconciliations
* Stock management
Skills required for success:
* Experience within Accounts Payable/Purchase ledger/Accounts role
* AAT qualification is preferred, but experience in a similar role will also be considered
* Great communication skills
* Strong analytical & Excel skills
