Territory Manager - West Bromwich
British American Tobacco UK (BAT) is looking for a Territory Manager to drive growth of our global brands in the West Bromwich area. The successful candidate will own their territory, build strong relationships with retailers and execute trade and brand activities under a high‑autonomy, field‑based role.

Key Responsibilities
* Own and manage your assigned geographical territory of independent and symbol stores.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, ensuring loyalty and trade support.
* Execute trade and brand marketing plans (distribution, visibility, display, dialogue) with excellence.
* Identify new business opportunities and unconventional channels to grow market share.
* Ensure products are well‑stocked, correctly displayed, and aligned with company guidelines.
* Track competitor activity and implement visibility plans (e.g., back‑walls, counter‑top units).
* Manage orders, budgets and reports efficiently, ensuring compliance with BAT standards.
* Act as the key link between BAT and the trade, providing education and digital tool adoption.
Requirements
* Relevant experience in sales, trade marketing, or account management (FMCG experience is a plus).
* Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
* Commercially minded with a drive to achieve sales and distribution targets.
* Excellent time‑management and ability to work independently.
* Willingness to travel extensively within your territory (95%).
* Basic IT skills and good command of English.
