Tooling Design Engineer
West Midlands (Halesowen/Lye area)Full-time | Permanent
Due to continued growth and increased customer demand, we are looking to recruit a Tooling Design Engineer to support a busy and expanding Tooling & Design function.

The Role
You will be working as part of a small, highly skilled team, responsible for the design and development of tooling solutions used in complex manufacturing processes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Designing jigs, fixtures, and tooling for precision-engineered components
* Producing detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings using Siemens NX
* Ensuring all designs meet Teamcentre compliance standards
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across tooling and production
* Reviewing and checking design work completed by other team members
* Collaborating with manufacturing and engineering teams to deliver robust tooling solutions
What We’re Looking For
* Apprenticeship served with HND (or equivalent) in Engineering/Design
* Proven experience in tooling or jig & fixture design within aerospace, industrial gas turbine, or similar precision industries
* Strong working knowledge of Siemens NX
* Experience designing tooling for complex components and processes
* Understanding of 5-axis grinding fixtures and/or EDM (die sink) tooling is highly advantageous
* Familiar with Teamcentre or similar PLM systems
