We are looking on behalf of our client for an experienced accounts professional to join a large franchised dealer group.
This position would be ideal for a very experienced Accounts Assistant looking for their next step, or for an Assistant Accountant at a small dealership wanting to take the next step into a bigger Assistant Accountant role.
Your responsibilities would include:
1. Assistance in ensuring sound financial controls and processes are maintained within the dealership across all departments
2. Review of all elements of working capital, discussing any areas of concern with Department Managers and updating the central credit control team and FC where applicable
3. Completion of the manufacture composites
4. Calculation and collation and payroll elements
5. Ensure all inter company ledgers balance
6. Preparation and maintenance of certain balance sheet reconciliation
7. Processing of head office recharges
8. Processing vehicle depreciation journals
9. Preparation for Month end ledger closures
10. Full ownership of manufacture debt and ensuring timely payment
11. General cover of accounting duties in the absence of the FC, especially being able to carry out the weekly forecasting
