Overview
Join a small care team in Worsley. Our client has a fantastic sense of humour and loves getting out and about. After a severe brain injury, she uses a wheelchair and requires full support with daily routines, personal care, and therapy sessions. She enjoys lunches out, theatre, concerts, quality time with family and her dog. You’ll work closely with her family and Case Manager to ensure she receives the best possible care and support.

Location: Worsley, Manchester (near the Trafford Centre)
Hours: Permanent, 17.5 hours per week. Bank shifts also available.
Days: Monday to Friday, 4:00pm – 7:30pm
Pay:
* £13.12 per hour (Monday to Friday)
* £15.37 per hour (Weekends & Bank Holidays)
* £12.21 per hour (Sleeping Nights National Living Wage for age 21+)
Start Date: ASAP (subject to satisfactory employment checks)

Responsibilities
* Provide full support with daily routines and personal care.
* Assist with therapy sessions and participate in activities that promote wellbeing.
* Support the client with social outings, attending venues, and family time.
* Work closely with the client\'s family and Case Manager to coordinate care and ensure the best possible outcomes.
What Were Looking For
* Essential: A genuine passion for helping others and supporting people to achieve their goals; willingness to learn from the client and gain insight into living with acquired brain injury.
* Desirable: Previous care experience, experience supporting adults with physical disabilities, an interest in therapy, and a willingness to try new things.
* Driver: Desirable but not essential.
* Vehicle Use: May involve driving a wheelchair-adapted vehicle or occasionally using your own car.
