We are seeking lifeguards to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service whilst supervising and assisting customers to enjoy their visit to the swimming facilities following Health and Safety guidance, Normal Operating and Emergency Action Plans and Procedures.
Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and assist customers in the swimming facilities, ensuring safety and enjoyment.
2. Check rescue equipment regularly and maintain high cleanliness standards.
3. Organize pool-based activities, including set ups and de-rigging equipment.
4. Work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Hold a current NPLQ qualification with supporting training record or be a competent swimmer capable of undertaking the NPLQ syllabus.
2. Be willing to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
3. Attend regular staff training sessions to maintain your NPLQ.
Positions Available:
7 Permanent Part-time positions across two sites with the following hours:
* Post 1 – 11.50 hours
* Post 2 – 24.71 hours
* Post 3 – 21.63 hours
* Post 4 – 21.50 hours
* Post 5 – 9 hours
* Post 6 – 10.75 hours
* Post 7 – 6.38 hours
Casual positions are not available; recruitment is only for the specified permanent hours.
