Role Summary
Stories and Communications Manager – responsible for creating compelling stories, managing communications across digital, print and media channels, and supporting the hospice’s mission to provide end‑of‑life care.
What You’ll Bring
You will be an exceptional storyteller with significant experience in communications, PR, journalism or content creation.
Qualifications and Experience
* Outstanding writing, editing and storytelling skills.
* Experience creating content across digital, print and media channels.
* Strong understanding of communications planning, audience engagement and brand management.
* Experience producing video and multimedia content.
* Excellent stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
* The ability to communicate complex or sensitive information with empathy, tact and professionalism.
* Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Confidence working collaboratively across teams and influencing colleagues at all levels.
* Personal resilience, emotional maturity and sound professional judgment.
What You’ll Do
You will gather patient stories, plan fundraising campaigns, write for Hospice Matters and support senior colleagues with media inquiries. You will also lead and develop communications strategies and content to inspire support and drive understanding of hospice care.
