We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team at HMP Millsike, a Category C mens prison located in Full Sutton near York. HMP Millsike is a newly built prison with an operational capacity of 1500 places. This role is part of a new healthcare team from the inception of the site, with opportunity for development including ACT training upon successful completion of probation.

Responsibilities
* Assist with the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high-quality prison pharmaceutical service, maintaining a high level of security.
* Hold direct patient contact as part of a comprehensive healthcare package tailored to the prison service’s needs.
* Share information relating to pharmaceutical products, medicines management, drug regimes, and medicines.
* Collaborate as a key member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team to make a real difference.

Requirements
* Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
* Up to date with Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
* Relevant post-qualification pharmacy experience
* Able to work unsupervised while following policy and procedures
* Experience in a hospital, community, or prison environment is desirable but not essential
