Pay Range
£31,925 to £33,869 per annum, 37 hours per week.

About the role
You will be a dedicated and proactive Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, supporting the Designated Safeguarding Lead in ensuring that all students, especially those in vulnerable groups such as children in care and young adult carers, are protected, supported, and able to thrive in a safe and inclusive environment.
Responsibilities
* Support the Safeguarding Manager in developing and implementing safeguarding policies and strategy.
* Coordinate and deliver Safeguarding and Prevent training across the Group.
* Conduct and oversee risk assessments for students presenting safeguarding concerns.
* Liaise effectively with social workers, NHS services and other local safeguarding partners.
* Act as the Designated Teacher for children in care, contributing to PEP and CiC reviews.
About you
We are looking for an experienced Safeguarding professional who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people.
* GCSEs in English and Maths A*-C/9-4 or equivalent.
* Completed DSL training.
* Desirable: Level 4 qualification in a related subject and an IT qualification such as ECDL or CLAIT.
* Experience in safeguarding work, problem solving and conflict resolution.
