We are seeking an experienced Legal Cashier / Accounts assistant to work alongside Accounts Practice Manager with the day-to-day running of the accounts department and to cover their role in their absence. This is a key role within the firm, ensuring that all financial operations are managed efficiently, accurately, and in full compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules and Law Society / QS Practice Management Standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee the firms accounts department and manage the accounts team.
2. Maintain Client and Office accounts, ensuring full compliance with SRA Accounts Rules.
3. Manage the purchase ledger, including bank reconciliations, payments, billing, and queries.
4. Produce month-end accounts and prepare detailed monthly management reports.
