This Senior Residential Conveyancer role isn’t about juggling 100+ files or being pushed on unrealistic targets. It’s about doing the job properly, managing around 50–60 live files, and being trusted to get on with it.
You’ll be joining a long-standing, well-respected firm across Teesside, where the focus is on service, consistency and getting transactions over the line without the usual stress and noise. The Senior Residential Conveyancer here is valued for how they work, not just how many files they can stack.
The Package
* Up to £45,000 basic (DOE & qualification)
* 25 days holiday + bank holidays (rising to 30 days with 5+ years' service)

* Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
* Office-based with some flexibility where needed, will consider Hybrid (DOE)

The Senior Residential Conveyancer Role
* Manage your own residential caseload from instruction through to post-completion
* Handle a mix of purchases, freehold, leasehold and right-to-buy matters
* New build transactions, re-mortgages and transfer of equity
* Run purchase files end-to-end with minimal supervision
* Meet clients, provide quotes, take instructions and give regular updates
* Keep files progressing and prioritised, especially where timelines are tight
* Work collaboratively with colleagues whilst maintaining ownership of your files
* This is a role where you’re trusted to take ownership
The Person
* CQS (Conveyancing Quality Scheme) qualified (ideal)
* Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive (preferred), although qualified by experience will also be considered
* Confident managing your own residential caseload independently
* Strong technical knowledge of residential conveyancing processes and property law
* Organised, detail-focused and able to prioritise workload
* Exceptional communication and client care skills both written and verbal
* Team player with the ability to work on your own initiative
* Driving License and own car (essential)
