HG Recruitment are recruiting for a HGV Class 2in partnership with Wickes at the Wincanton, campus site, Cullompton Professional HGV Class 2drivers are required to APPLY NOW
to join the team delivering home improvement products directly to customers.
We are looking for reliable and customer-focused HGV Class 2 Drivers to complete multi-drop home deliveries for Wickes customers. Drivers will work alongside a Drivers Mate to safely deliver building and home improvement products to residential addresses.
DUTIES:
* Carrying out multi-drop home deliveries in a safe and timely manner
* Working alongside a Drivers Mate to complete two-person deliveries
* Ensuring loads are secure and transported safely
* Providing excellent customer service during deliveries
* Completing delivery paperwork and using handheld devices where required
* Adhering to driver hours regulations and working time rules
* Reporting any vehicle defects or delivery issues to the transport office

Requirements:
* Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
* Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
* Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements
* Good knowledge of driver hours and working time regulations
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Ability to complete multi-drop deliveries and manual handling tasks
* Reliable, professional and able to work independently
