Yolk Recruitment is currently working with one of the most well-known manufacturers across Wales, an ambitious business established for over 50 years. With a strong order book throughout the pandemic, they have made significant investments across their sites.
You will be working independently on production lines, following a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (2 days/2 nights).
As a Multiskilled Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
1. Performing proactive and reactive maintenance on the facility and production equipment, ensuring all health and safety requirements are met.
2. Maximizing machine availability at minimal cost through effective planned preventative maintenance.
3. Collaborating with other plant engineers and team leaders to focus on achieving planned maintenance hours.
4. Participating in planning, controlling, and overseeing daily routines and inspections.
5. Implementing a Total Quality Approach across the site.
Experience required:
1. Proven electrical and mechanical knowledge supporting all production lines.
2. Proactive equipment testing, fault finding, and repair skills.
3. Experience with PLC fault finding and modifications using Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs.
4. Ability to work independently.
What you will receive:
If successful, the salary for this Multiskilled Engineer role can be up to £55,000, depending on experience, with numerous overtime opportunities.
