Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant (Experienced, Global Implementation)
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant to lead and deliver global implementations, optimisations, and ongoing management of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform for enterprise clients working across multiple Salesforce organisations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-impact marketing automation solutions, with hands-on experience in complex, multi-org environments and a strong technical background in Marketing Cloud tools and integrations.
Candidates will be considered from the UK, Ireland, and the East Coast
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementations and enhancements for global clients, including multi-org architectures.
* Collaborate with stakeholders across regions to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable, high-performing Marketing Cloud solutions.
* Design, configure, and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns using Email Studio, Journey Builder, Mobile Studio, Automation Studio, and Cloud Pages.
* Develop and maintain robust data integrations between Marketing Cloud and other Salesforce Clouds (Sales/Service Cloud) or external systems using APIs, Marketing Cloud Connect, and SFTP. Create personalised and dynamic content leveraging AMPscript, SQL, SSJS, HTML, and CSS.
* Optimise customer journeys and marketing automation workflows to drive engagement, lead generation, and revenue growth.
* Monitor, analyse, and report on campaign performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Marketing Cloud implementations and integrations.
* Deliver user training, documentation, and best practice guidance to empower internal marketing teams.
* Stay current with Salesforce Marketing Cloud features, releases, and industry trends to ensure best-in-class solutions.
Experience & Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including global implementations across multiple organisations.
* Proven track record of delivering large-scale, multi-channel marketing automation projects for enterprise clients.
* Strong technical proficiency in AMPscript, SQL, SSJS, HTML/CSS, and API integration.
* Experience with Salesforce CRM (Sales/Service Cloud) and Marketing Cloud Connect.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to lead workshops and engage with diverse business and technical teams.
* Relevant Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications: o Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist o Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator o Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant o Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer
* Account Engagement (formerly Pardot) certification is not required for this role, but a bonus.
* Experience with Interaction Studio, Einstein, and other advanced Marketing Cloud features.
* Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
* Ability to create and maintain clear technical documentation.
