6 month contract with a local Authority
Job Purpose
* To act as the primary point of contact for IIT staff (mainly Independence Assistants) and referrers outside of normal business hours. Out of hours provision is 5:00-9:00pm Monday to Friday and 7:30/8am – 9:00pm Saturday/Sunday/Bank Holidays
Key Duties/Accountabilities
* Assist the day time Independence Assistant Co-ordinators (IAC’s) to coordinate the work of a team of IAs, allocating care hours and resources, to ensure high quality care is provided and that care plans and services are delivered as required.
* Assist the day time IAC’s to coordinate the teams daily work allocation via an electronic rostering system, managing rotas and team attendance, arranging cover where required, including booking agency staff.
* Conduct quality assurance visits and spot checks regularly and when necessary with service users and IA’s and complete assessment reports, to ensure appropriate care is being provided.
* Ensure all statutory and professional requirements are met, within the care provision.
Essential Experience Required
* To be able to manage the delivery of support plans through a team of Independence Assistants (IA’s), addressing any areas of concern
Essential Qualification Required
* NVQ level 3 in Healthcare or equivalent (including experience of working at this level)

* This role is 11 working hours per week.
