Core Responsibilities

Teach a diverse and inclusive Art curriculum across KS3 and KS4—emphasising painting, sculpture, digital media, printmaking, and mixed media art.

Support students in building portfolios and preparing for GCSE assessments with personalised guidance.

Curate student exhibitions both on-site and within the community (library shows, local galleries, community centres).

Lead after-school clubs in ceramics, textile printing, photography, and digital illustration.

Collaborate on multi-disciplinary projects (with Drama, DT, or Science) that showcase student creativity across the school.
Candidate Profile
You will hold a Fine Art (or similar) degree and QTS, with expertise in both traditional and digital artistic processes. You’re imaginative, empathetic, and committed to serving a diverse student base, with the ability to differentiate and encourage students to explore and take creative risks. Community engagement and collaboration with local arts organisations are welcomed.
