The School, a unique and inclusive SEND setting based in a beautiful Georgian building with expansive grounds and a working school farm, is looking for compassionate and committed Specialist Teaching & Learning Assistants to join its multidisciplinary team. The school supports young people aged 7-19 through both day and residential placements, providing specialist education and care for pupils with autism, ADHD, PDA, sensory needs, attachment difficulties, and complex behaviours. Deliver tailored one-to-one and small group support for Years 7-11 (or 9-11 as needed) with complex behavioural and SEN needs
Foster a structured, safe, and inclusive learning environment, both indoors and outdoors
Support academic progress, emotional wellbeing, personal development, and independence
Work closely with teachers, therapists, families, and key workers to implement personalised learning plans and therapeutic strategies
Contribute to behaviour management, life skills development, and the wider life of the school, including outdoor learning and community engagementWho You Are
Experienced in supporting children/young people with additional needs-ideally in SEND, youth work, or care settings
Skilled in behaviour management and building trusting relationships with young people
Calm, adaptable, patient, and responsive to complex challenges
