Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our growing team based in Warrington but covering the North West and our bases in Liverpool & Manchester.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and demonstrate proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various types vehicles including Mercedes, Fiat, Citroen & Peugeot vans. This role is essential in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our operations, contributing to the overall success of our organisation.
Duties
* Conduct thorough inspections vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre rotations.
* Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic equipment and tools.
* Repair or replace defective parts, ensuring all work meets safety standards.
* Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role within the automotive or machinery sector.
* Strong understanding of mechanical systems, engines, and electronic components relating to Mercedes, Fiat, Citroen & Peugeot vehicles.
* Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Relevant certifications or qualifications in mechanics are advantageous but not mandatory.

Information
* We will provide a work van so you would be able to attend any of our vehicle breakdowns in the North West where the majority of our vehicles operate.
* Working times would primarily be Monday to Friday, however, some early starts or late finishes may be required. As would occasional weekends as/when required.
* We are growing and so experience with HGVs would be advantageous as well.

Pay: £30,000.00 per year
