*Job Title:* Service 24hr Commercial Vehicle Technician

*Position:* Service 24hr Commercial Vehicle Technician

*Salary Banding based on experience *£37440- £44460
*Salary Banding OTE *£59815-£79085
*Working Pattern:*
*Week one*: Workshop 7-3pm + On- Call 24/7
*Week two*: Workshop 7-3pm + second line support / Back up 24/7
*Week Three:* Workshop 7-3pm
*Your responsibilities:*
You will work on a 3-week rotating shift pattern. Week one you will be on call 24/7, week two you be second line support, attending 24/7 call outs where the on-call technician is unable to attend and on week 3 you will be based at our Truck workshop in Sittingbourne
* Whilst on-call/ back up, you will attend to customers whose vehicles have broken down.
* You will be responsible for managing call-outs and notifying second line support accordingly.
* Whilst in the workshop you will be responsible for the servicing and maintenance of customers vehicles.
* You will meet all Mercedes Benz SLA and BER requirements. (Training Provided)
*What we are looking for:*
* Roadside IVR (This qualification can be gained on the job)
* A relevant formal qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Repair) with a proven track record in vehicle repair and servicing.
* The ability to follow instructions and procedures, but also able to work off own initiative.
* Great communication with the ability to build relationships with all types of customers.
* A full valid UK driving licence
* Experience of operating technical vehicle repair and diagnostic software is a distinct advantage in this role
