Overview
Senior Quantity Surveyor, Bristol, working on a long-term framework overseeing projects between £5 million and £15 million. The role will be responsible for taking the commercial lead on managing costs across a framework project and would suit somebody with experience within civil engineering / rail.
Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage projects, ensuring adherence to programme schedules and budgets.
* Lead the commercial management of contracts (NEC), including forecasting, tendering elements, cost reporting, sub‑contract management and contract administration.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and alignment with client expectations.
* Drive cost efficiency through value engineering and effective procurement strategies.
* Ensure robust risk management and contractual compliance across all projects.
* Mentor and develop a team of Quantity Surveyors, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
* Report on project performance and provide strategic commercial insights to senior leadership.
Qualifications
* Quantity Surveying degree is desired
* Experience working on Civil Engineering projects
* Experience with rail would be beneficial
* Ability to establish, build and maintain client relationships

Hours: Full Time – 40 hours – Monday to Friday
