TPF Recruitment is delighted to be representing an esteemed firm of chartered accountants in Eastleigh in their search for an Accounts Assistant or Semi-Senior. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and skilled individual looking to further their career within a supportive and dynamic environment, with career progression on offer.
You will be responsible for:
* Preparation of statutory accounts.
* Assisting with management accounts production.
* Personal tax, corporate tax and VAT returns.
* General bookkeeping duties using Xero or Quickbooks.
* Support senior accountants and managers with audit assignments.
* Liaise directly with clients to gather necessary information and resolve queries.
Requirements
* You will have at least 18 months experience within an accountancy practice.
* You will be ACA/ ACCA part qualified or AAT level 4 qualified, although candidates with relevant practice experience, who fall just short of the qualification criteria will also be considered.
* You will have hands on experience of accounts, tax and VAT preparation.
Benefits
* Salary circa £25,000 - £35,000 per annum. Negotiable.
