We have a variety of positions available across different teams, including:
* Community-Based Treatment Services: Provide assessments, coordinate treatment, and collaborate with partners to support individuals. Deliver structured psycho-social interventions in both group and one-on-one settings to help our service users develop the skills they need for lasting change.
* Homeless Outreach Provision: Target homeless individuals by offering flexible outreach responses to those sleeping rough or living in temporary accommodations.
* Criminal Justice Rehabilitation/Recovery Services: Work closely with Probation Services, Prisons, and Police to provide rapid, tailored support for individuals on their recovery and rehabilitation journey.

Your Role as a Recovery Worker
As a Recovery Worker, you’ll act as a ‘key worker’ for a caseload of service users, guiding them in setting their treatment goals and developing actionable plans. Your responsibilities will include:
* Maintaining regular contact with clients and offering advice, information, and psycho-social interventions.
* Conducting assessments and risk management planning.
* Collaborating closely with our clinical staff regarding prescribing needs and partner agencies.
No two days will be the same! Strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a commitment to Turning Point’s values are essential. Whether you have lived experience of substance use, mental health, or homelessness, or come from a background in health and social care, we have a role for you!
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous experience as a Recovery Worker.
* An understanding of substance and alcohol use, along with the challenges faced by individuals on their recovery journey.
* Flexibility and the ability to work dynamically in both one-on-one and group settings.
* Excellent communication skills and a shared commitment to our organizational values.
